| Welcome to the First Presbyterian Church Canyon, Texas website.
I would like to invite you to worship with us Sunday mornings
at 10:00am and to Sunday school afterwards. We are located on
the corner of 9th Avenue and 19th Street. In addition to classes
for the children and youth, we have two adult classes, a Bible
Study, and a current issues and biblical topics class.
Our Wednesday evening program is intergenerational and involves
worship skills, activities, (such as crafts and recreation),
dinner and Bible Study. Children come at 5:15, have dinner
and are through at 7:30. Senior High youth come at 6:00 for
dinner with worship skills and Bible Study afterwards. You
are invited to join us as your children participate.
It is my hope that you might think, pray, and explore the
possibility that God has called you to this church, a church
that is sincerely trying to follow Jesus the Christ. I hope
and pray that you will find a congregation where God's love
is experienced with all of its' transforming power.
